Law Fellowships Gift Match
Law Fellowships Gift Match
From now through December 31, donors to the Notre Dame Law School can see their gifts doubled through the Eck Fellowship Challenge. Under the parameters of this matching gift challenge, all new gifts and pledges designated for endowed law fellowships will be matched dollar-for-dollar, up to $5 million. The challenge was funded by the estate of the late Frank Eck Sr. ’44, a prominent University benefactor who died in December 2007.
Gifts or pledges to any endowed law fellowship qualify for an Eck gift match, including:
- Rev. Michael D. McCafferty, C.S.C., Fellowship
- Professor Edward J. Murphy Fellowship
- Patricia A. O’Hara Fellowship
- Professor Charles E. Rice Fellowship
- Law Class Fellowship Endowments
- Individual Benefactor Fellowship Endowments
With a target of $17 million, fellowships are a key component of the Spirit of Notre Dame campaign’s overall goal for the Notre Dame Law School. Within the Law School, and across the University, student financial aid stands as the most critical of all campaign priorities.
To participate in the Eck Challenge with an online gift, simply type “Law School Gift” in the “comments” section of the online gift form, and let us know which endowed fellowship you wish your contribution to support. Make your gift now.
