ND Women Connect
ND Women Connect Launches
This month, the Alumni Association officially launched a new initiative called ND Women Connect. The group, which is facilitated through local ND clubs, provides opportunities for women graduates to foster their personal and professional relationships; enhance their personal and professional development; and make valuable contributions to Notre Dame, to their local communities, and to causes that inspire them.
Reunion attendees are invited to a special ND Women Connect work-life balance seminar on Friday, June 5, from 2:30 - 3:30 p.m. in the Browning Cinema, DeBartolo Performing Arts Center. Presenters at the event will be Brenda Torres '94, a partner at Crowe-Horwath, and Dolly Duffy '84, NDAA executive director.
In addition, the group, together with the Gender Relations Center, will host a special reception in honor of Sr. Jean Lenz, O.S.F., special assistant to the Vice President of Student Affairs at Notre Dame, who retired after 35 years of service to the University. The reception, which will be held on the Irish Green Terrace at the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center, takes place Friday, June 5, beginning at 3:45 p.m. |
