Thank You From Father Jenkins

Dear Alumni, Parents, and Friends,

As we ring in 2009, I want to thank all those who made giving to Notre Dame a part of their Christmas traditions this past year. In this time of financial uncertainty, I appreciate all the more deeply the sacrifices made on our behalf. You may be certain that your gifts will be stewarded carefully and that, collectively, they will boost our efforts to provide students with an unparalleled education of the mind and heart.

Of the many blessings we at this University enjoy, perhaps none is so profound as the love of the Notre Dame family. Be assured of my continued thanks for all you do for Our Lady’s University, as well as my warm good wishes for much health and happiness in the new year. I keep you in my prayers, always.

In Notre Dame,

                                    Rev. John I. Jenkins, C.S.C.

Special Thanks to ND Club of Hawaii
Many thanks go out to the ND Club of Hawaii, which welcomed the Fighting Irish football team and its fans to Honolulu for the Sheraton Hawaii Bowl on Dec. 24, 2008.

For the next Notre Dame Tradition, we want to hear more about service projects—specifically, what was the most rewarding service project in which you participated while a student at ND?
Click here to send us your experiences. We’ll pick a few of our favorites to feature in the next edition of ND Today (submissions may be edited for content or length). Have a photo to go with your story? Send it with your submission and we’ll include it with the post.
