ND’s Mendoza Ranks No. 2
When it comes to undergraduate business programs, ND’s Mendoza College of Business ranks No. 2, according to BusinessWeek magazine. For the first time since the magazine launched its ranking of undergraduate business programs in 2006, University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School is not its No. 1 program. The University of Virginia took over the top spot this year. Both Virginia and Notre Dame scored better on BusinessWeek’s student survey, which counts for 30 percent of the final ranking. The University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School ranked No. 3.

Eck Hall of Law Open for Business
Students, faculty, and staff of the Notre Dame Law School were welcomed into their new home, the newly constructed Eck Hall of Law, in January 2009. Take a video tour of the new building here.
The construction involved renovating the existing Law School and connecting it to a brand new building. Once all construction is finalized, the existing law building, which will be renamed Biolchini Hall, will stand as a fully functional space that will house the Kresge Law Library and administrative offices. A covered archway will link Biolchini Hall to the adjacent Eck Hall of Law, which will house classrooms, faculty offices, and administrative space. The two buildings will share a connecting chapel.
The new building offers the double advantage of the charming architecture that is characteristic of Notre Dame’s more historic buildings and the cutting edge technology to promote advanced thinking and learning within the school.

The Alumni Association now offers an improved alumni e-mail service, which is based on Google's web-based e-mail program. Instead of having an e-mail forwarding account, the new service offers actual e-mail accounts with an alumni.nd.edu address.  [Full Story]
