Upcoming Survey on Communications and Commencement
Later this month, the University will conduct an online survey of alumni, parents and friends of Notre Dame. The purpose of the survey is two-fold: to gauge the effectiveness of the University’s engagement and communication with the Notre Dame family, and to generate feedback about the 2009 Commencement.
The research study is part of a broader strategy to seek input from alumni, parents and friends more regularly in order to help guide the development of communications, volunteer and engagement opportunities, and other University initiatives.  [Full Story]

Diving Into the Job Market?
ONWARD   With the launch of ONWARD: Alumni Career Development, the Alumni Association made a commitment to help alumni navigate their career paths. And now it has added two new elements to the ONWARD arsenal: career seminars co-hosted by local ND clubs, and a series of four online webinars.
Each seminar includes presentations by local career recruiting experts and corporate executives. These co-presenters, often fellow alumni, will give substantive advice about the area’s market. The interactive seminars are hosted by professionals from career and recruiting firms. They will cover four modules addressing topics such as job searches and effective interviewing skills, as well as how to be a leader in the workplace. [Full Story]
